Who is behind Fiveteen, where it came from, and the people who wear it. A clothing brand that started with one suitcase, between Lagos and Montréal.

Fiveteen started with one suitcase, one sketchbook and a flight from Lagos to Montréal. Everything since has been made in small runs, with the people around us.
Fiveteen began in Lagos, as pages of drawings in a school notebook: logos, jersey numbers and jackets that didn’t exist yet.
In 2023 the notebook made the trip to Montréal in a carry-on. A new city, a cold first winter and a small apartment became the first studio, and the first pieces were made in runs small enough to carry home.
We still work that way. Every piece is designed in our Montréal studio, made in small batches and shipped from our warehouse in Winnipeg to wherever you are.
8,474 km and five or six time zones apart. Both cities are in everything we make: the colour and noise of one, the winters and the craft of the other.
We make clothes for the ones who leave home with a sketchbook and a suitcase. For the late nights, the first gigs and the small wins. For people who build something from nothing, and wear it like they mean it.
Small runs
Made in batches of 150 or fewer, so nothing sits in a warehouse.
Made to last
Heavy fabrics and real stitching. Pieces that get better with wear.
Built with people
Castings, pop-ups and screenings are part of the work, not the marketing.
Shipped from Canada
One warehouse in Winnipeg, sending pieces to wherever you are.
From a notebook in Lagos to a studio in Montréal, and the people who joined along the way.

Lagos. The notebook.
The first drawings: logos, jersey numbers and jackets that didn’t exist yet.

Montréal. One suitcase.
A carry-on, a cold first winter and a small apartment that doubled as the studio.

The first drop.
Our first graphic tee, Pros de l’internet, printed in one small run.

The year it became a community.
A film series, a pop-up and our first model casting. The people around Fiveteen started to show up in person.
Fiveteen is a small team in Winnipeg and Montréal, and a much bigger circle of photographers, models, makers and friends who help each drop happen.

Names and portraits are placeholders until the real team photos are in.

Draws every piece first. Moved from Lagos to Montréal in 2023.

Turns sketches into patterns, and patterns into samples.

Runs the small batches and checks every piece by hand.
Castings, pop-ups, screenings and the people who show up for them. Fiveteen is built in the room as much as in the studio.

We keep coming back to one idea: the work you dreamed of can be the work you do now. Every piece, film and event is a small proof of that.
So we make fewer things and make them properly. We put real people in front of the camera, and we build the brand in public, one drop at a time.
Same streets, new stride.
